These photos were taken with different rolls of film over the last two months or so. Their arrangement does not refer to any spatial or temporal coherence between them. But it might. Please feel free to establish any degree of coherence for yourself.

Locations: Luxembourg, Berlin and Kassel. I think I previously posted some photos from these places but from different rolls of black and wite film.

Colour is different. I think the difference to a digital photograph is less noticeable than in black and white pictures. Often the grain is more visible in black and white film, while digital seems crisper. In general film seems to have smoother areas of blurriness than analogue. I don't think that is necesarily better. Just a matter of taste.

What is the point to use film when one scans the negatives anyway and presents them in a digital form? Probably just to have a convenient and relarively inexpensive way of showcasing your images.

To make physical enlargement of all these photos and show them around would be great. But I lack the equipment to do it. If you have any, please let me know. Would be great. Preferably in Dublin.

Yes, I moved to Ireland. Recommendations for photo stores in Dublin are very welcome! Some photos from the island of the Irish will follow soon as well. But for now you have to live with these.

This last one is for my father. Liebe Grüße!
