Did you ever hear of Laika? She was the first living being in space. She was also a dog and died. That's sad. But the life of the adventurous is full of dangers!

You might have also noticed that the domain of my blog contains the word "spacedog". I think space dogs are great.

Why?

BECAUSE THEY ARE DOGS IN SPACE!
Just imagine a dog floating around in space, not giving a damn.

How awesome is that, please?

Italians were so amazed by space dogs that they decided to make this awesome postcard.

I am not sure why the dog is wearing a gas maks on this stamp. In space you clearly need a proper suit. How silly.

And this is what the NASA could come up with. A monkey, seriously? How unoriginal.

These pictures should convince everybody that space dogs are awesome. I propose to stopp humans from going to space and send dogs instead. Aren't they supposed to be our best friends? If that is true than they better prove it. In deep space. Or maybe on a Mars colony exclusively inhabited by dogs.
